One of the first departments established in the Secretariat of Academic Affairs concerns the affairs of students from the lists of students who are candidates for admission to the date of graduation in the University, through the registration procedures, the approval academic calendar, and the approval of the results of the semesters, through the forms of each department of University studies, and all these forms were designed by the University Studies Committee, and were reviewed by the faculties, and then approved by of Senate of the University of Gezira.

- It oversees all matters relating to undergraduate students in terms of follow-up registration procedures and the withdrawal and re-admission, transfer and resignation and petitions to the students section.
- The Department keeps regular records For registered students at the University at the beginning of each semester.
- The Department keeps records of the results of all students at the University.
- The Department keeps regular records For registered students at the University at the beginning of each semester.
- The Department shall review the results of the students at the end of each semester and ensure the implementation of the academic regulations for university studies.
- The Department conducts regular statistical studies for the purpose of developing the educational process through the results of the students.
