University Studies committee

The meeting of Senate No. (125), approved on April 4,1994 the formation of a Committee for examinations as one of the consultancy Committees of senate to put frameworks for petitions and all related examinations under the chairmanship of Prof. Modathir Ali Ahmed, the Dean of Academic Affairs should be its Rapporteur hereby. 5 members have been succeeded on its chairmanship. Professor Hussein Suleiman Adam was appointed by the Examinations Committee on the 17th of December, 1998. The designation of the Examinations Committee was changed to the University Study Committee. Professor Hussein Suleiman Adam chairman of University Studies from March 1999 to September 2002. Professor Yousif Ali Rajab Nasr University Studies Committee from the 18th of September, 2002 to 27th of December, 2009. Prof. Hashim Mahmoud Babeker Al - Sadiq chaired the University Studies Committee from 20/12/2009 until March 2013. Professor Al-Nour Kamal Eddin Abu Sabah chaired the University Studies Committee from the 17th of March, 2013 until its date.

scientific Committee

It's a Sectoral Committee of meeting of Senate which was formed in November 1994 in order to facilitate the task of Senate in the approval of curricula and programs from faculties and all the topics submitted to the Committee are discussed in senate of faculties and the Committee reviewed with scientists specialized in the subject and then discuss with the program providers and then submitted to of Senate. Succession of the presidency of the committee three members. Professor Yousef Gamar Mohammed chaired the Academic program Committee from November 1994, until December 2005. Professor Yousef Fadlallah Mohamed Abdullah chaired the Academic program Committee from 16 December 2005 until its date. Move to regular meeting of committee senate Professor Professor Osman Mohamed El Amin Magbool chaired the Academic program Committee from 2017 To date the committee meets on the fourth Wednesday of each month and makes recommendations to the board of professors.

Promotion Committee

The promotion shall be carried out through the committee headed by the University Vice Chancellor. The Department of Academic Staff Affairs shall be responsible for following up the implementation of its decisions. The promotion procedures shall be as follows: Receipt of files for applicants to be promoted by the Department of Academic Staff Affairs to ensure that it meets the requirements (in form). The Promotion Committee shall discuss the files of applicants for the promotion and decide on it. Send files that meet the conditions of promotion for the arbitrators. View the responses of the arbitrators to the Promotions Committee. Following up the Editing Letters of promotion for those who have been approved by the Promotion Committee.

Interview Committee

The members of the Academic staff and Academic assistants shall be appointed by the Interview Committee which headed by the Vice Chancellor of the University. The Department of Academic Staff Affairs shall be responsible for following up on the implementation of its decisions. The procedures shall be as follows: Advertising about Jobs. Receiving files of applicants. Check the files to ensure that the recruitment requirements are met. Send them to the faculties for review and choose the initial list. informing the candidates with the date of interview. Following up the appointment of those who recommended the Appointments Committee to appointment them.

Qualification and Training Committee

The training of Academic staff and Academic assistants is carried out by the University's training committee which headed by the Deputy Vice Chancellor of the University. The Department of Academic Staff Affairs is responsible for following up the implementation of its decisions and recommendations. The qualification and the training are done in coordination with the general administration for training and capacity building at the Ministry of Higher Education and Academic Research or through finding scholarship with some institutions that have cooperation with the University or training implemented by the University and includes the qualification and training as follows:-
